Dollardstown House has been the Behan family home for over forty years. Andrew grew up in this house. Andrew’s mother, Mary Behan used to run a Bed & Breakfast in Dollardstown House and the house is a credit to the great work she did.

After moving into the house in 2011, Andrew and his wife Antoinette (from the Netherlands) decided to re-open the Bed & Breakfast and revive this wonderful historic home.

Dollardstown House offers three en-suite guest rooms on the first floor. The rooms are comfortable, full of character and TV-free. All rooms overlook the grounds and gardens and have coffee / tea making facilities.

Because of the times we live in, we’ve kept our prices very affordable. Dollardstown House offers a place to really un-wind and get away from it all – any time of year. Whether you are traveling in a group, with a friend, as a couple or in your own company, you will find a warm and homely welcome awaits you.

We invite you to leave your worries behind and relax by our open fires. In line with the character of the house we have made one television available in our drawing room. Want to keep in touch with the home-front? We have free WIFI available for our guests.

Dollardstown House is situated in the southern part of County Kildare, in the Barrow Valley as it winds its way through the hills and mountains on each side.

We are centrally located: one hour from Dublin, one hour from Waterford and 30 mins from Kilkenny. Dollardstown is less than a 10 min drive from Athy town.
