Developing a Marketing and Branding Strategy for Athy

The BRAND Project brings together 4 partners from across Wales and Ireland, with the aim of addressing the problems of poor / limited self image experienced within the towns of Rhyl, Holyhead, Athy, and Dún Laoghaire.

The Project is 75% funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the EU's Ireland-Wales Interreg IVA programme and runs until September 2012.

The Aim of the BRAND Project

• To develop and test a method of place re-branding and re-engaging communities
  
• To create a toolkit of the methodology developed and make this available to other areas as a template for community regeneration
  
• To develop and deliver action plans to change perceptions from negative to positive
